ACI MCP Use Policy

Version 1.0 · 18 October 2026 · See also the ACI Connector Privacy Notice.

Scope

This policy applies to the ACI MCP connector. Professional use is governed by the Professional Subscription, Data and API Agreement (ACI-AGMT-003), including Schedules 2 and 3. Signed-out use is limited to connection, tool discovery and a public catalogue of provider names and categories. This policy implements those terms. A separately executed agreement prevails over it in any conflict, and is varied only through its own amendment procedure. Mandatory legal rights are unaffected.

Access and entitlement

Connecting to or installing an ACI plugin or MCP client, discovering tools, or receiving technical credentials grants no independent right to ACI Data. Access and use remain limited to the applicable agreement, the tools enabled for you, your authorised users and the agreed scope. Professional access requires the applicable Stage 2 acceptance and an Approved Internal AI configuration.

Permitted analysis

Within that scope, an authorised user may use an approved AI configuration to:

  • retrieve current enabled ACI results;
  • compare providers;
  • summarise the results;
  • perform enabled internal composite calculations.

Ordinary request-time retrieval and inference, including checks of an authorised workflow, do not by themselves constitute prohibited model training or development of a competing intelligence product. An AI agent acts within the authorised user's workflow. It does not obtain a seat or contracting authority of its own, and it cannot accept terms on the customer's behalf.

Outputs and verification

The applicable licence, confidentiality, attribution and reuse restrictions govern any output that reproduces ACI material or permits it to be reconstructed. A summary or composite created by an AI client is not a newly published or CRO-certified ACI Risk Indicator. Check material statements, dates and values against the ACI source output, and keep its attribution and analytical framing. This policy claims no ownership of unrelated customer material, general know-how or independently obtained facts.

Restricted uses

Except where ACI grants permission in writing, do not use ACI material to train, fine-tune or distil a model, build an unauthorised archive, or develop, populate or calibrate a competing or substitute intelligence product. Do not circumvent entitlements, share credentials or redistribute beyond the applicable licence. Rate limits are technical controls; they grant no additional collection, retention or reuse rights.

AI environment and inputs

Professional use must meet the agreement's Approved Internal AI conditions, using the recorded service, account and configuration, and complying with the applicable retention, feedback and no-training requirements. Submit only inputs needed for the authorised analysis and only where you have the rights to do so. ACI's approval of an AI configuration does not give ACI control over its provider.

Enforcement

ACI may reasonably restrict or suspend access to investigate suspected misuse, protect service security or address a material breach. Where lawful and practicable, ACI gives reasons and an opportunity to respond or remedy. Urgent protective action may come before notice, with review afterwards. Where no contractual acceptance or contact has been established, enforcement may rely on technical controls and independently available legal rights. ACI describes its monitoring in its privacy documentation and does not claim detection capabilities it does not operate.
